NIS America has announced turn-based RPG The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC (Steam). It will launch in early 2024.

The Legend of Legacy HD Remastered is a remastered version of the 3DS game The Legend of Legacy, which first launched on January 22, 2015. The game’s development staff includes multiple industry veterans who have worked on the SaGa and Final Fantasy series, including designer Kyoji Koizumi, promotional illustrator Tomomi Kobayashi, art director Masayo Asano, character designer Ryo Hirao, and monster designer Yuichiro Kojima.

Havent played the original version myself but its a NIS game and its tied to Alliance Alive (which also received a remaster few years ago) which is another game from the same developer/publisher.

I would say from looking at the footage, it looks like its a Bravely Default like game but...probably not as polished lol

I completed the game on 3DS back in the day.

It uses a similar system to the known SaGa series with it's techs you learn not from leveling up but from fighting stronger enemies which can net you stat increases and learn new techs. Save from that a few different battlefield mechanics which consist to aggro a magic element to give yourself an advantage over your enemies.

It actually came before Alliance Alive, so consider this game a proto version of it because unlike the former, it doesn't have much of a narrative structure other than "explore to discover this land secrets".

I had fun filling up the maps to 100% nonetheless. 

This definitely has to be up there for one of the worst names a game's ever had

Cant be as bad as Square Enix's recent RPG game names (that isnt Final Fantasy lol).

Honestly been checking out the 3DS release as I am building that library at the moment.
The name couldn't be more generic though.
