As another year draws to a close, so does another rendition of our usual Greatest Games Event, which also means it's time for the overall results! Of course, it goes without saying that I'm grateful to @Smeags for creating this tradition and to @Leadified for carrying the torch before I took it on. These events are always plenty of work to host, but I loved them from the moment I joined this community and I love to be able to keep them going.
This year we had a few first-timers among us, which I am always happy to see. In total, I received 67 of your personal top 50 lists this time, which is exactly the same amount as last year, but with just enough extra variety to make the overall results slightly longer than last year's (there's two games more!). Which means this is gonna be a very long list, get ready!
Also, last year I commended you all for sticking to your guns as we had the fewest ever number of 'missing' lists (that is, people who signed up but didn't finish their top 50). That number was 5, and this year we had exactly the same amount, so I commend you all again. It makes me very happy to see so many of you sticked until the end to contribute with these results.
