Switch managed to beat last year's 3rd post Lite release week without any software release! Pretty damn good!

The numbers seem low for Crash Bandicoot, how big is that franchise in Japan?

Signature goes here!

Switch sales are up WoW. It's always interesting to see how much they will sell in a particular week. It really is a huge guessing game at this point. I'm also surprised to see RFA at third, but in terms of weekly sales, there isn't much difference between first and third place.

Switch doing better, but Ninty clearly is keeping more and more consoles back in their storehouses to have something to sell during the holiday season.

And if RFA constinues like this for a couple years, it could end up becoming the second-best-selling game on the Switch in Japan when all is said and done.

Was huge(even got a manga) now it is basically death.

I am not sure they had anticipated that the base Switch alone would do significantly more in 2020 than 2019.

EDIT: without price cut.

I just noticed Switch passed 4m YTD this week. I think last year they sold just under 4.5m for all of 2019 in Japan. Switch should pass that in another 5-8 weeks, leaving basically the entire holiday season for whatever the increase is compared to last year.

Ouch, Crash deserves better.

I hope this doesn't curb any future plans for a New Spyro. Different franchises but they share similar trajectories

Damn Switch beat last year, I was sure 2019 Switch would still win this week since it was still pretty high coming off the Lite launch. Impressive. And Switch hits 4 million to start October, that's insane. By early November it should pass Switch's 2019 sales and have the entire holiday season to pad the stats!

AC and RFA and Mario All-Stars all looking solid in the 30k's. Will be interesting to see how Mario All-Stars holds considering its only available for 6 months. I would think it will hold at 20k/week for the most part. Looking for it to hit pass a million before discontinued.

Crash was never big in Japan. This did do significantly worse than the remake trilogy, but sales in Japan just aren't that big of a deal for franchise plans.
