Rules

Vote Changing

Do not edit your votes! If you want to change a prediction then you must quote your original prediction.

You're allowed to change your vote for a title until around a day before reviews arrive, I will state when I'm closing taking predictions per title.

Join Date

As soon as possible would be preferable although you can join anytime you want to.

Review Scores

This year we will be using OpenCritic instead of MetaCritic for a number of reasons, firstly because VGChartz is on OpenCritic, secondly because of Xbox's recent focus on both Xbox & PC, OpenCritic combines both platforms for one total score and lastly simply because I prefer OpenCritic.

New Games

Any new XGS titles being announced and releasing in 2020 will be added to the table as soon as possible.

Eligible titles include anything from an XGS, that includes XGP.

Final Score

Final score is taken 2 weeks after release date.

Legend

-1 Point, You're off by 10 Points or More
1 Point, You're off by 4
2 Points, You're off by 3
3 Points, You're off by 2
4 Points, You're off by 1
5 Points, You're Right on the Meta
+1 Extra Point, You're the Only Correct Predictor

Sorry for the late opening, I completely forgot about doing it for this year, I was also kind of put off after everything got delayed from the last two prediction leagues, though now Xbox has plenty of studios starting to release titles to make things interesting.

I'm using VGChartz tables this year to make updating it easier/quicker, also I've swapped to OpenCritic for reasons explained above.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps embargo is on the 9th of March, I will likely close taking predictions midnight on the 8th (UK time) so be quick with getting your Ori predictions in.

Ori - 92

Will do all the others at a later date.

Edit: Also I like the use of OpenCritic over Meta and it makes sense with Play Anywhere and combining platforms to give a real average across all versions.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps - 90.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps - 92.
Bleeding Edge - 62.
Battletoads - 60

Cant really judge Halo - Infinate yet, since we havnt seen any gameplay from it.

Good luck and let great games come.

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"
