Forums - Gaming Discussion - I'm about to beat Final Fantasy Mystic Quest again, and it feels great!

I'm playing Mystic Quest on SNES emulator.

The last time I played this game was probably 8-9 years ago (Geez, I'm getting old), and I'm having a blast with it today. Sure, it's pretty easy compared to other FF games, but I don't see this as a problem at all. I guess sometimes you need an easy game.

Well, I still think FF4 is the best FF on SNES, but Mystic Quest is not bad at all. It's fun and easy and that's not a bad thing, at least for me.

Also, I love how you can jump and use your weapons to solve puzzles.

I think it was the first FF game released in Europe. I've heard that it was made intentionally easy, but I haven't actually tried the game out myself. I'm happy that you enjoyed it though!

Literally the worst FF ever made.

Yeah, worse than II.

But nostalgia is a powerful thing.

Aren't you thinking of Final Fantasy VIII? :P

I do agree with him that Final Fantasy IV is the best of the SNES era games though, lol

It's not the best RPG, far from the worst as well.

Oh wow, you’re a VIII hater.

All those good vibes with the Tidus avatar, gone in one second.

For the record VIII isn’t in my high tier of FFs, but it’s not bad either.

Nothing will ever beat II leveling system, it’s a broken game with the worst dungeons in the series.

I don't hate it, I don't hate any Final Fantasy game, or dislike them for that matter, it's just my least favourite of all the mainline games, lol

Okay, then you’re ok :P

I seem to remember mashing my way through Mystic Quest in a few hours and wondering how I would have felt had I purchased it over...well, almost any other RPG on the SNES or MD.
