Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp out NOW - launches a day early

UPDATE: Looks like the servers are back up!
Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp is now available for iOS via the App Store and Android via Google Play

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp was originally slated to be released tomorrow, November 22nd. However, it seems like Nintendo has decided to release the game a day early. It should now available both on the Google Play Store and the iOS App Store in most countries. Check your respective store on your mobile device to see if you can download the app.

However, you can’t actually play the game right now. It seems like either the servers are down for maintenance at the moment or are buckling under the heavy load of everyone trying to access them at the same time, as you can’t currently get past the title screen without getting a communication error.

Giving it a go right now the app is a perfect fit for mobile.

It's working for me, I'm already loving it. Hopefully this will be a huge success.

Game is fun, but expect it to get repetitive once your camp is complete. Mine was 'done' after about 2-3 weeks of playing

Yeah I got bored of it already. My fault for playing it like non stop lol

Pocky Lover Boy!

I might have talked shit about the game in previous threads. Yea, I know I'm a smartphone game hater but I think this game has potential. It won't blow up as big as Pokemon Go was in the first few months but it will be somewhere in between Pokemon and Fire Emblem. Game will make Nintendo money and turn people onto the upcoming Switch release.

Which is why I expect Animal Crossing Switch to be like February release or something.

Nintenod does their Mobile games like little teasers and making one want to play the full experience. Be smart to release AC Switch soon so that those that finish their camp and want to do more jump on the switch version.
