Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Star Fox 2 sales

So I was curious about this. In the past, the site has tracked sales of games bundled with hardware such as Wii Sports and Kinect Adventures. Will it do the same for Star Fox 2 when it is released later this year?

Im am hoping that it does, simply for hilarity of the image of a SNES game appearing in the charts alongside those of 8th Gen consoles.

No. Just think of the millions in sales we'd have to track for all of the Sonic games in every Genesis mini @Games has put out in the past decade.

Well that's a shame.

To correct your statement, this site has tracked sales of retail games bundled with the system. VGC never track digital sales, at least for now.

I suppose that is part of my question - Does Star Fox count as digital given that it is in effect bundled with the SNES classic and the console does not have an internet connection?

When it inevitably launches on VC later down the line, I'm sure there will be some sort of tracking.

Yes it count as digital. For Wii Sports and Kinect adventure they have a disc bundled with console so that count as physical. It doesn't have anything to do with the internet. If you got the game in the form of physical media then it should count as physical, hence the name. And as far as I know, SNES mini doesn't come with a disc or cartridge.
