Welcome to the Playstation Community Reborn!!!

Authorized by Axumblade

Here in this thread, you can talk about anything Playstation-related and have fun as a community with other Playstation fans!

A couple of rules to start off with:

1. This is a SFW thread, no NSFW stuff allowed in this thread ever.

2. Always respect each other in this thread, I don't want to have to stop people from having a stupid argument. This is a place to have calm and reasonable discussions and not a place for personal attacks. Gooch doesn't count

Two very simple rules, that should be easy to follow and will hopefully lead to some good times ahead for everyone in the thread :)

Also, if anybody have any poll suggestions for the thread you can PM it to me and I can make it happen!

Hope you stick around here!

PS4 Game Recommendations

Driveclub (Ganoncrotch)

"Just got the 100% trophies in the Tour Mode of Drive Club, damn... I have to say that is easily one of my if not my favourite game on the PS4 to date, it's just such a beautiful looking racer, really there isn't a time when I'm playing it that it doesn't just make me feel warm and fuzzy with next gen shiny graphics."

"If anyone was considering a driving game and feels drawn away from Driveclub because of the launch day issues it had, I really can't recommend the game enough for anyone who enjoys a beautiful driving game, 12 player races, day/night cycle, some of the most impressive weather effects you will ever encounter in a game. Just yeah... it's an experience which should be had by all with a ps4 imo."

Senran Kagura Estival Versus (Shikamura317)

Estival Versus has a surprisingly deep and well-written story for a game that lures you in with busty anime girls and sexual innuendo. There are some pacing issues where it feels like certain events are dragged out for too long just to create more content for the game, but to counter that there are some truly heart touching moments. Honestly, I think that Estival Versus had more heart touching moments than any game I've played in the last year. And if you're a bit of perv, Senran Kagura definitely doesn't dissapoint, there are plenty of pervy moments in the story too,  9/10
Gameplay Some people may think I'm crazy for saying this, but I think Tamsoft may actually make a better 3D hack & slash game than Omega Force does. I personally enjoy Senran Kagura gameplay more than any of the Warriors/Mosou games I've tried. Each chracter has a pretty decent sized moveset, plus 3 different "finishers" to choose from if you have enough scrolls. The gameplay is fun, fast paced, and never too difficult. It does start to feel a bit grindy after awhile though, especially if you're going for the platinum trophy. 8.5/10
Value Estival Versus has 27 different characters to choose from, 25 of which appear in the main storyline, the most of any game in the Senran Kagura series so far. Overall it takes about 25-30 hours to beat everything in the game, which is a pretty good length, especially if you catch the game on sale or rent it like I did.  7.5/10
Graphics and Art Estival Versus graphics are nothing too special, mainly due to it being held back by the Vita version. Character models are pretty good, but the environment graphics feel like something from early last gen. Artwise Senran Kagura fairs better, most of the character designs are good (though I personally wish there were a few less busty girls and a few more girls with average sized chests) and some of the maps have some really pretty environment artwork. 7.5/10
Audio Estival Versus has a surprisingly good soundtrack. I don't really remember being all that impressed by the music in Senran Kagura 2, but Estival Versus has a pretty great soundtrack. The Japanese voice acting is pretty great, though I do wish they had recorded an English dubbed version for the Western release, because it's kind of hard to read the subs while fighting enemies. Sound effect design isn't really remarkable, it's neither amazing nor bad.  8.5/10
Trophies Estival Versus' trophies are pretty basic and boring, most are story based and the few miscellaneous ones you will most likely unlock over the course of the game without trying. On the plus side it has an easy, but kind of grindy feeling Platinum.  7/10

Overall: 80/100

Final Fantasy XV (Shikamura317)

Story Poor pacing, tragic underuse of several "main characters", and a really poorly timed character death. On the plus side, the ending is good and the dialogue for the main party is well written.  7/10
Gameplay Fairly fun, but simple combat. Poor magic system. Fun minigames.  8/10
World/Mission Design Poorly placed quest givers and the ability to only take one bounty hunt at once (leading to lots of running back and forth or slow fast travels). 3 poorly designed dungeons/instances. The world manages to feel both too small and too large at the same time somehow. 6.5/10
Graphics and Art

Decent graphics, better than most Japanese games but behind comparable western games. Excellent art design for characters, environments, and enemies.

8.5/10
Technical performance Solid 30 fps, slow loading times (1minute+ at times), very few bugs. 8.5/10
Audio Easily the best soundtrack of 2016. Good JP dub but poor English dub. Decent sound effect design.  9.5/10
Content/Value If you're the type who likes to do all of the side content in games, you can easily get 80 hours out of Final Fantasy XV. Even if you only do some of the side content, I think you'll get a solid 40 hours out of FFXV. 10/10

Final Score: 82/100

Welcome to the New Playstation Community thread, I believed a new thread was necessary as the old one felt rather old and...dead. So a brand new start was what it needed!

Now with a brand new thread, Ill be more active with weekly polls, smaller news that might not be enough for a thread itself and possible tournaments here and there. Hopefully we can all have some fun as a community and discuss things we might not in separate threads :)

The reason for why I'm the OP is simple really...I was the only one that wanted to do it :P and I do want this thread to have more life than the old and hopefully people won't be too intimidated with the post counts here, which I believe is one of the reasons the old one barely had any activity and also...the last OP wasn't exactly the best.

Tagging (again )

That's more like it :P
At least history was made, 2 PS community threads got locked today lmao

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Ok Tagged for this one too, I'll be back in an hour to tag the next one.
