Sick! I can finally respond to this beautiful thread. First off, I've been asking for off topics to be taken off the front page forEVER and I've only ever gotten shit for it. Why is everyone suddenly for it? Regardless, I think it makes an incredible amount of sense for off topic threads to not appear on the front page. I understand that these events are tragic, but when people come to a video games website, they shouldn't have to see multiple threads regarding shootings, bombings, and Donald Trump.

Just let it be a video game website. If you'd like to talk about that stuff with people on this site, you can go directly to the politics section yourself. Everyone is happy this way.

There are certain individuals with disgusting opinions on this site(just yesterday argued with someone praising Saddam), a lot of Islamophobes, racists, gators, but it's a vocal minority, they keep making threads and repeating the same things over again. The trend is that Political threads have continued to rise on this forum, few years ago there was barely any politics talk.

Again, uncheck that checkmark. The only problem arises, is when people mislabel where the thread should go.
