Ew Shadows of the Colossus.

Enough reason for me not to back this project.

Why Western indies still trying to make clones of Japanese classics. If I want a spiritual successor to Dark Souls or SotC I want it Japanese made with some original staff attached to the project.

Yeah, saw this earlier. Looks great, taking inspiration from SotC alone, is enough for me to keep an eye out for it.

Pretty interesting. I wonder if the wolf is going to eat her or save her.

I was already excited for it, but today with the opening of the Kickstarter campaign, a famous youtuber from here got in contact with the devs and liked the way they are really trying to push the game and all the feedback they tried to take from him to improve everything they could, so now I'm even more excited about it.

Nice, sounds like they're really passionate about making the best game possible with the fans in mind.

Wut

That's completely messed up man, what does it even matter if they are Western or Asian?

Nowhere does it says it's a spiritual successors, it's just inspired on Shadow of the Colossus, that the devs probably love.

What he should of said was, why do we have all these indies that do nothing but throw several games into a pot and say the end result is theirs?

They should use their development opportunity to create something truly theirs. Not ride of the coattails of others. I do know why but I always get extra agitated everytime a developer use Team ICO as a refrence.

Why does live orchestra take precedence over a console port?

SotC is one of my all time favorites. Dunno about this. If I understand the stretch goals correctly there will only be 5 bosses in the main game. Plus the weird mix of game play styles isn't doing it for me. And it's summer, no time to advertise with snow and freezing to death!

I'll check back later, maybe back it when console versions are guaranteed.

Hopefully it comes to consoles. If it does ill buy.

Only 5 bosses isn't that big a deal.  I mean, it's not like SOTC where they are your only enemy.  This game seems to have smaller threats, as well as some survival gameplay features.  You also search temples for treasures and new weapons.  There's much more to it than hunting giants.

@ OP

It looks great to me.  I'll definitely pick it up when it comes out, and hopefully for PS4.  Love the snow deformation and dynamic weather and daylight.
