Yes, FIFA 16 used "Ignite", FIFA 17 uses "Frostbite". We will know more next week, but looks to be improved models and textures from the little I see thus far.

EA is moving all their games to Frostbite. FIFA 17 will be the first yearly sports game that uses Frostbite. The others will follow next year.

Ignite was the previous engine and mostly known for introducing advanced physics to their sports games.
