For all the flak they get over milking their franchises, it's not uncommon for Nintendo to make their fans wait many years, and even multiple generations, to get the games they want.

Which is/was the most agonizing hiatus for you?

Metroid hiatus. It's been years since we had the last one, and it was not very good (Other M). I can manage to wait for Zelda U since we have a lot of Zelda relate stuff to make the wait less painful. And the public opinion of Nintendo milking their franchises just doesn't make a lot of sense, thinking about how much do we have to wait sometimes.

Golden Sun?

Western release of the PSP. Revolutionary handheld back in 2004-2005. Big 16:9 screen, backlit LCD, joystick, 3D graphics, MP3 player, watch movies, internet etc, was amazing.

Out of the poll options it's Zelda U, but out of everything it's old school Paper Mario games.

Super Mario RPG remake/sequel

Most agonizing hiatus for me would be waiting nearly 6 years for a new C&C game. The last one tanked and sucked pretty bad. Last good C&C I played was Red Alert 3 and that was in 08, so technically I've been waiting nearly 8 years for a good C&C game.

The most painful wait is NX. But for game i'd say SS.

But I would have to say Zelda U. I needed that game the moment I saw it.

It just hit me how frequent nintendo hiatuses are.
