Title explains it all. Super Mario Maker will be at 2 million units sold by the end of december this year.  I'm talking about sold + digital numbers.

I personally think 1 mil 1st week is gonna happen. so 2 mil within this year seems plausible. I'm already in a bet with some guys on skype that this will be the best selling Wii U game (bold I know). Especially if it gets bundled during the holidays.

Considering 2D mario games are historically nearly just as strong as Mario Kart in sales and that the WiiU has a much stronger userbase than at either the MK8 or SSB4 launch, I think it'll be pretty easy. I figure 1.2 - 1.5 million just the first week alone.

I believe the appetite for great WiiU SW is much stronger than previously thought.
