Hello fellow users of VGChartz! I was originally going to do this once I reached 50 posts, the minimum requirement to start making threads. But I kind of forgot, and put it off, but not anymore! I'm doing this thing now!
I made my account when the Earth was on the opposite side of the Sun (Compared to when I wrote this thread). And a solar eclipse happened just 2 days before I made my account.
Based on my username, and the two sentences prior to this, you've probably already guessed one thing about me: I'm a fan of astronomy. Planets, Moons, Stars, Nebulas (The "Sentinet" kind, maybe?) all that stuff. Which is why I also like space-based games like Kerbal Space Program (Which just officially launched!) and Universe Sandbox. I've also been very good with numbers throughout my life, so coming to a website about video games and numbers was pretty much just for me! And that's why I'm here.
Some other genres I like are JRPG, RTS, shmups, and racing games.
I started out as a Sega fanboy, with my first console/game being a Sega Genesis (aka Mega Drive) with Sonic the Hedgehog 2. We also had a Saturn and Dreamcast. After Sega pulled out of consoles, we got a Gamecube for the Sonic games. My parents later bought us a PS2, where I was able to enjoy games like Final Fantasy X and Gran Turismo 3, while also getting to play some older PS1 games (Remember when backwards compatability was a thing?). My console collection also includes a Gameboy Advance, DS, PSP, PS3, and Wii. The PS Vita was the first console I bought with my own money, (All the console before were bought by my parents or one of my siblings) and I also bought a 3DS, PS4, and Wii U later.
Since then, I've mostly transitioned to PC gaming primarily. But it's also notable that I've never owned an Xbox console, and I feel that I owe it to myself to get one at some point (Most likely a 360, due to it being cheap now and having a large library) otherwise people will think I hate Microsoft or something.
So there it is... my introduction over 15 million seconds late. Even as the charts slip behind, I look forward to more conversations with all you awesome people!
