I am a single guy that lives alone. I work hard and have no family, so I have some extra money to spend.

I totally understand people that do not want more than one console. If I had a family or still had my girlfriend, I would totally spend money on them, not on gaming.

However, things are the way they are...

That is why I have a Xbox One, a PS4 and a WiiU.

That said, the WiiU is totally the weakest console of the three. There are games on the PS4 that would never ever run on the WiiU.

But the WiiU is also the coolest of the three, and I love this little crazy console.

I will tell you guys why I love it and you can also share your love WiiU´s stories with me.

Here we go:

WHY DO I LOVE MY WIIU?

1- The Virtual Console: it is awesome to play NES and SNES classics. These are part of the gaming history and, being from Nintendo, a lot of those games are still timeless or awesome.

2 - The Wii compatibility: I never had a Wii, so now I can experience what the fuzz about that quirk console was all about. And there are some very amazing gems to try.

3 - The Gamepad: It is fun, it is diferent, it is unique. It has amazing potential that even in very small doses (like a map or something like that) can make a game cooler.

4 - Nintendo in HD: The awesome Nintendo flavor of games is now avaliable in beautiful HD. And it is gorgeous.

5 - It is diferent from the others: Being super weak, the WiiU have a advantage: he doesn´t need to race, it have nothing to prove. It can do its own thing and have cool crazy games like WiiFitU (have you guys tried the bobsled game?)

It is one of the best times I had in my gaming life! And even 3rd party games, like Scribblenauts and such.

The WiiU already lost, it has no chance. But that is why it already won.

Cause of the Quality Nintendo games that I can't get anywhere else... I havn't played a game yet on the wiiU that is published by Nintendo that has disappointed me so how could I not love it loll

I don't love mines like I use to.

I like the general type of games Nintendo careers to (though there's room for improvement) and am pissed off with the crap you often see from the much hyped third parties.

I like the gamepad and wii motes.

That is it.

I thoroughly enjoy the games on the console, and really the only consoles I play at parties are Nintendo console.

WiiU will be like the Gamecube; low sales but universally enjoyed.

After the N64 i distanced myself from Nintendo. There wasn't a reason, life just happened. The expection being a GBC with Oracle of Ages i took with me whenever i had to travel.
During the sixth gen i always wanted a PS2, but my parents couldn't give one. I was mostly a PC gamer for a time. Than last gen i got a PS3. It was fun and had great content, but something was missing.

Than, during a youtube session something called my attention in the related videos. It was NSMBU. I started watching it and couldn't stop. It was Super Mario! In HD! I don't know how to describe, but at that moment i started remembering all the games i loved on the N64. Mario64, OoT,Mario Kart, Smash.


The truth is i am a nintendo fan. I enjoy their games way more than the rest. Just talking about NSMBU makes me want to play it again. I like PS and PC too, but it is different. I can see myself not having a PS or even a powerfull PC, but i need my Nintendo fix every gen.

Probably the games. Zombiu, wonderful 101, pikmin 3, super mario 3d world, donkey kong country tropical freeze, mario kart 8 and soon to be bayonetta 2 and smash bros, are superb games

My only peeve is the prevalent and long drought in between the brilliance. I hope Nintendo can fix it soon

Right now because it's so easy to get Netflix on it in Australia. Haha.

Mostly the games though. Between the VC, indies and first party games it literally has more great games than I have time to play. I'm trying to get through Mario & Luigi SS so that I can get started on Minish Cap and then Golden Sun and Mega Man X. So many games I never played... And then Bayonetta 2 comes out tomorrow!
