Do you expect another Mario Kart channel? Maybe voice chat, online replay, online rankings? Or how about Co-op online like Mario Kart Wii? And some achievement system found in Live, PSN, Steam, Pokemon, etc.

So yeah, just list the features you expect.

I'm hoping for voice chat, lots of unlockables, some team modes, rankings, and the ability to host games and invite friends. What I expect is for Nintendo to drop the ball and give us a bare bones online experience as per usual.

I think the biggest thing they need is full on local + online multiplayer. As you said, MKWii sorta had this, but only with 2 local players. All 4-5 local players should be able to play online aswell!

I don't know why you'd expect that seeing as MKWii had everything you're hoping for minus voice chat. It was only MKDS that was barebones, but cut them some slack! It was one of their first ever online games!
