I'm in the middle of downloading this massive patch myself. I have a 5Mbit connection so this one is gonna take all night.

I hope 343 knows how to make a game that only requires small patches.

13GB is massive.

Why not just download this size via DLC download and not via game patch... seems like they added the DLC for every body and after that just a 100k key is needed to unlock the DLC.

That is Capcom being Capcom... remember the on disc DLC?

wow there has to be explanation for this I can only see it being dlc and nothing else

Capcom really is that stupid then.

Instead of doing on disc DLC they resort to crap like on patch DLC LOL.

Stupid Capcom.

DR3 at launch was 19GB. Now its ~24GB. So these patches must be changing a lot of the original content. Its not just DLC.

There was a day one patch that apparently helped with performence. I'm hoping this patch does more of the same! But I wouldn't bet on it.

13 GB WTF.

Its probably more to do with how MS view content. I remember that you can do one title update for free on the 360 before MS started to charge you for patches. In recent news, MS has change their patching policy but somethings still might remain. If Capcom does this via DLC then there could be a charge or percentage that MS gets even if they give it away.

I'm more surprised MS allowed that... in 360 they had a very strict politics for patches.

@Mr P(sorry can't quote I'm using opera mini browser)

I highly doubt the game needed 13gb of patches as the title wasn't that bad in terms of issues, I'd say 500mg to 1gb would be ideal patch size

I think this is dlc, it would be bad however providing this is dlc that you are unable to use game online without it, I remember that happening a lot previous gen
