That PS4 AND Xbox 1 won this gen? Both systems are selling at/below manufacturing prices and Microsoft/Sony is making a killing off subscriptions. Microsoft and Sony can do nothing for the rest of the gen and make money and gain 3rd party support and Nintendo is still trying to make a profit.  There are two winnas this gen so can we all calm down about shipment numbers??!

Why can't you accept the fact that you are telling yourself this because it pains you to go through this current entire gen thinking that the PS4 has a very reasonable shot of outselling and outpacing the competition?

lets award 2 gold medals to the two fastest runners next Olympic games too? Rather than judging the one who isn't as fast or as good as the real winner?

Half or more of a consoles life sales come from consumer attraction to third parties. Nintendo has already lost even though they are ahead. Sony and Microsoft will pass by or before summer 2014. In a true traditional gaming market its about finding a balance between first, second and third party and I think Sony much like last gen will have the most varied exclusives and take the crown once more. Microsoft is starting with a bang but most of their appeal is coming from them keeping games away from Sony..

Cause if we learned anything from last gen and the handhelds of current gen...
