One of the pleasant surprises I have with the 3DS recently is sharing in game screenshots of Super Mario 3D Land on Miiverse. It's an entertaining feature that encourages me to have Miiverse posts and turns my profile into a blog about playing through 3D Land. Now I learned from a Miiverse and a GameFaqs forum user that Pokemon X and Y doesn't let you post in game screenshots on Miiverse when a year old game like 3D Land can! What is this madness? >:-|

Hopefull they'll improve MiiVerse on 3DS more :|

When you're naming your Pokemon or trainer you can type whatever you want meaning you can use that as a loophole to put curse words, phone numbers, and friend codes on to miiverse

Wow that really sucks if true. Considering you can do that to Link's name as well in A Link Between Worlds and that game lets you share in game screenshots on Miiverse.

I'm pretty sure this isn't the reason because you can post screenshots of Animal Crossing, which has a chat function that let's you type in words which then float above your head for a while. If your reason was true, then they wouldn't let AC post screenshots either. I'm pretty sure they'll include it in the future...

Nintendo's probably just scared that the 3 million fans showing off their teams will crash Miiverse.

That's an understandable reason. Maybe they should put communities within the game communities themselves if that's the case. Can we at least write notes on in-game screenshots of X and Y?

Oh thats right I forgot that you could do that with new leaf. Well shucks im stumped.
