Just as the title says, I just saw a Nintendo commercial on tv. It was for Skylanders SWAP force on the Wii U (no mention of other consoles), and it was shown in the middle of one of the largest tv shows in Norway (Farmen). 

This might seem insignificant to some of you, but I haven't seen Nintendo commercial on tv here in Norway since 2009 (Pokemon Explorers of Sky). Now carry on with your lives. :D

I was watching Sky Sports and I actually saw a lot of Nintendo commercials, followed by a few Microsoft ones and 1 Sony one.

I haven't seen a Nintendo commercial on Norwegian TV since the early Wii days. Then again, i no longer watch TV in the traditional sense anymore. Perhaps when i visit my parents house once in a whileXD

Nintendo might be better at this outside of Norway. Bergsala is the publisher here in Norway, so I think they take care of the marketing as well. This is probably why we have no Club Nintendo. 

I don't get why they market this game instead of SM3DW though.

I've been seeing a lot of Wii U ads. Even a soup ad included wii u product placement. They've been top notch lately.

I only saw Nintendo commercials on Kids channels here in Germany....

I've been seeing a lot of Nintendo commercials, now that you mention it. Lots for Mario 3D World, some for Just Dance, and one for A Link Between Worlds.

Here in germany, I can also say that Nintendo-commercials on TV are week-for-week more present.

I never realized you were Norwegian. 

Yeah, I've been slowing down a lot of tv watching the previous five years, gaming takes up most of my tv time now, but I often watch the larger shows (nytt på Nytt, Farmen on sundays,  big bang theory every day (while doing homework)).
