honestly, the game looks boring.

Really? I love combaat games. I like how Crytek arent filling the game with pointlessly easy platform sections or needlessly easy puzzles.

You must really like Knack

More I see of this game the more I want it. Going to get an Xbone December 5th most likely instead of when Titanfall comes out, just because of this bad boy.

lol @ people harping on review scores. I am sure many of those people are enjoying/will enjoy Shadowfall even though it's only a 76 or something on Metacritic. Here are some games similar to Ryse that I enjoyed the shit out of even with "bad" scores:

http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/conan - 69%
http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/dantes-inferno - 73%
http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/dynasty-warriors-8 - 65%
http://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-360/x-men-origins-wolverine - 75%
http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-2/rise-of-the-kasai - 68%

Man who would have thought years ago when this on rails Kinect game for 360 was announced that it would morph into something this amazing? Still waiting to see some decapitation gifs too. Game is going to be brutal.

The game wasn't announced as an on-rails Kinect game...

i think VGCz might need to put together a suicide watch for selnor when the review embargo is lifted.

Unh?

I dont care for the reviews.

Its nice to see a combat game without the crappy filler platform stuff or easy arse puzzles tat just annoy the hell out of me. They arent needed. I hated the easy platform filler bits in Uncharted. Man that wasnt even exploration.  Just filler BS. Samee with games like GOW or Ninja Gaiden. Platform bits that are easier than completeing Final Fantasy 13.

Nice to see the reason Im buying the game ( combat ) is deep and rewarding if I want to master it.

Im in.  Bring it on.

*sigh*

I'm only hear to say the title of this thread made me want to kill myself.

(but while I'm here) this game looks pants, i wouldn't buy it even is Naughty Dog sicked it up. But thats negative so I'm going to say.. looks fairly different so it could be great. thats all

tell me how it is when you get it xboxons. Except Selnor as i can't take the words he will tell me in.

I will give it credit for the graphics, but it's still not native 1080p and one can already tell that it's going to dip below 30 FPS very often. Beyond that though, the game really doesn't look worth it at all. Very simple combat system, and due to the setting, it can only go so far. If anything though, this game does make me excited to see how a new God of War on PS4 can look. Seeing how good a linear title can look on a substantially weaker console, it'll be cool to see how they'll look on PS4.

As I said. Years ago when the game was announced, it wasn't known as an on-rails Kinect game. All we had was that live action trailer and the words "crytek" and "360 exclusive".
