Remember when Satoru Iwata said that he was going to step down if Nintendo doesn't reach its goal at the end of the fiscal year. Now Iwata is singing a different tune.

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

Well of course he doesn't want to resign. The question is whether or not he will be forced to.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!

I think you'd have to be insane to take anything Iwata said seriously. I'm sure he's a really nice man, but he's also a chronic liar.

Iwata doesn't appear to be competent enough to lead the company to properity.

Wait. Was in not already confirmed that people twisted Iwatas words to make it sound like he was going to resign? I remember reading something like this a while back.

Is the consensus among Nintendo fans that he should be canned? I thought he was well liked, even if Nintendo has had a superbly terrible release schedule.

From what i could find Iwata actually said:

Please understand that [achieving the income goal] is my commitment."

And a japanese media outlet took it as him implying that he would resign if that didn't happen, so they reported it as such. Then other media outlets started reporting that he would resign if that happened.

I have supported Iwata throughout all this crazy, but I do think it's time for him to go. I want someone who cares a little more about gaming, something that I feel Iwata doesn't anymore.

Too many sequels, too few 2nd tier franchises being produced, and very questionable hardware decisions are really bugging me.

No.... not yet.... the next president will not love wii u because that is not their launch project and will focus next gen.... same tging happened to wii in the last two years before tge wii u release. Keep iwata for the next two years
