I really can't get myself exited about this game. Crytek are among the best in the industry for creating top notch visuals, but when it comes to making a fun game, they suck pretty hard (at least in my experience) :/ Coupled with the rather mixed reports we have been getting about it, I doubt it'll be a game I ever invest in.

Here's hoping for the best i suppose.

I'm trying to like this game..... I really am. I wasn't impressed when I heard Crytek was making it. Even Adam Sesslers crew on Rev3Games didn't like it.

That's great! I like feeling good.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

- George Orwell, ‘1984’

You mean it wasn't made to make you feel like shit?! stop the press! MEGATON!

"Crytek says main character Marius is "not some brute that hacks his way through combat," discusses game's evolution from being Kinect-exclusive to third-person cinematic action game."

Sounded like a jab at God of War. could be wrong though...

That's the same thing i thought when i first read it! Seeing as they are exclusives from two competing platforms, and both are set about 2000 years ago, I wouldn't be suprised if he was making a jab at it :P

Yeah that is true. But, God of War, does have platforming and puzzles too.

I agree with the hands on after Gamescom. I like the game. Like the setting, like the developers games and trust them to make a good cinematic experience. Love the look of single player.
