What kind of idiot is paying 30$ for Angry Birds when can buy all of them for less then 5 on the app store

this is certainly a system seller. everything else is now doomed!!

Wonder if the Wii version uses IR or analog controls. Won't be buying this, have them all (free) on Android.

Activision could actually do decent things with this if they've made an effort. Have the game played traditionally or have the game played with the touchscreen showing the view from the catapult, would be quite cool if they've done that, it would be a design no-brainer...which is probably why we won't see it happening lol

I've always been quite frustrated by games design these last 10-20 years. Things started going downhill when developers started to insist on designers having design degrees rather than having a decent portfolio of ideas.

I started a design document for a game when I was working for Eidos years ago and came up with the same FPS control scheme with an adjustable bounding box before Metroid Prime 3 and Medal Of Honour Heroes 2 were seen. You don't need a design degree to design video games, you just need common sense and experience of playing the things. I emailed the design department and was told that they wouldn't even look at the document if I didn't have a degree so I binned it. Who knows, I could have come up with the next Tomb Raider and earnt them millions.
