Sorry im super tired so hopefully this will read as intended)

As a man of 22 i only have so much time to game. il play 2/3 hours week if i have time casually (unless there is a big game release i want) then i can find time. im super hyped for so many PS3 games this year it actually annoys me that PS4 is so close and i am going to spend so much money!.. however there is 1 little problem.. the PSVita.

im not bashing the thing as a handheld its great but in relaity there isnt enough truely amazing games and i cant see them coming? this year all i want on Vita is Killzone Mercinary and Tareaway but even then Killzone is all i need to 100% buy. i want Tareaway becuase i love LBP!

Now KZ:SF is coming this year too for the PS4 and it looks so epic that for me as a killzone fan i need that first before a portible spin off (despite how good it does look) and now i really cant see why i should own a Vita anymore. Games like Bioshock Infinate or The Last of Us or a Real Uncharted (im the biggest uncharted fan and while U:GA was good it was not even close to U2/3) so what left is there? spin offs of good games?

Sony needs to show me why i should keep this invesmant. i brought the PS3 and PSVita on relase and after a week i owned 3 PS3 games and after 1 year 3 months i own 4 retail Vita games..

This E3 i need HUGE Vita game announcemts of fresh exciting Western developed games that are exciting and make me excited to be a vita owner. Anything cross-platform i see as pointless as i can just get it on PS3. Sony also saying they expect 5 mil Vita/PSP sales for the next year makes me think they really arnt that botherd. they will still support it but there forcus is rightly on PS4 and continuing momentium the PS3 is having.

am i alone in this? Sony seem pretty content to heavuly support the PS3 for the next couple of years plus the PS4 will have huge new games that will cost me a bomb i can see why i would have a Vita, i dont even have time to have a Vita TBH. im 22.. when im out i dont need to play Video Games.. i like to read and listen to music.

sorry if i offended anyone but this is the only Sony system i have ever said.. yeh.. i dont need this.

You've set the bar too high, so the outcome seems to be clear.

what is clear is the word 'excited' came up far to many times in that sentence. i am way to tried right now

You are not alone, this E3 will justify the purchase of the Sony handheld or it will become just a niche console to play some Japanese imports, the problem is that Sony is not giving positive signals the number of expected sales for the year and the lack of announcements or at least hype for the device seems to be a very low priority compared with the PS4 information, news and support.

I asked all my friends how much time they think the Vita will get on Sony's presentation and the response is always less than 15%, so unles they actually acknowledge it big time, we may see an ealiy demise.

I bought my PSVita to play Dead or Alive 5, I got DOA5. I'm happy and currently have no desire to buy any game currently announced for it. It may find a 2nd use as a PS4 for my bed, though.

Yeah, buying it only for mirroring PS4 games would be a mistake. But if you already have one it is a nice bonus.

"Please be excited."

Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

Sony themselves expect 4 million or even less PS Vitas shipped globally for the entire year and they will release the PS4 this holiday season. I don't know how it could be more obvious that Sony already gave up on it. PS4 will get all the first party support and the Vita won't get much 3rd party support with a userbase this tiny.

I don't want to provoke anyone, this is just a realistic outlook.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I'm really enjoying mine at the moment, and I'm satisfied with the amount of games that are coming out for it currently. I just don't want it to completely drop off in a year or so.

Fingers crossed it gets a good showing at E3.

Good things come to those who wait...
