Minecraft for Wii U no more/less likely than other versions

Mojang’s Jens Bergensten was quoted as saying earlier this week that a Wii U version of Minecraft is “very unlikely.” But his words weren’t intended to be looked upon as a big negative for Nintendo’s console.

Bergensten has since clarified that when it comes to bringing Minecraft to new platforms, “Wii U is no more likely than any other platforms, but no less either.”

“The reason I said that is that the Wii U hasn’t even been mentioned when we’re talking about Minecraft platforms. However, I’m only responsible for the PC and Pocket editions, so the question wasn’t mine to answer. The Wii U is no more likely than any other platforms, but no less either.”

Would Minecraft on Wii U be something that you guys would like to see?

Really? I'd say the install base and similiarity between PS3/360 audience is reason enough to bring Minecraft to PS3. A PS3 version is more likely, simply because it makes for better business.

I think it'd be cool to be on Wii U actually...but I'm not going to be upset if it doesn't come. Got a PC for that.

Something I would find interesting is if they could manage to get Minecraft working on the 3DS. Imagine how the Minecraft world would look like in 3D? I mean, don't they already have a 3D option?
However, I am not 100% sure what it would require to run Minecraft on the 3DS. It should theoretically be possible, as I have seen a form of Minecraft working on the DS (flashcarts?).

I don't understand why anyone who wants to play Minecraft didn't already get it for PC. It is not like it is a particularly demanding game.

Isn't its 360 exclusivity due to the fact that Microsoft made a small team dedicated to porting, and that Sony is likely to do the same?

Because I wanted to play minecraft with my friends on the same sofa. :3
