Just not much at all I guess. I can understand why, nowadays there are so many more ways, and the painless option (gun) is more accessible I think.

The suicide rate was higher in 1900 than today.
Just made a quick internet research...

They used to rule a lot of suicides as "accidents", maybe?

What I pull from that data.

1) Our medicine has gotten tremendously better. (just look at flu related deaths)
2) Our food has gotten tremendously worse. (just look at heart disease, diabetes, and cancer... all directly or indirectly related to our food/drink)

I can understand more heart diseases, but why more cancers?? Is exposure to all these electronic things really affecting us?

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

We're living longer now. A lot of the diseases that would of killed you back then can now me treated. So if the flu doesn't get you, cancer or alzheimers will.

If one or more of your ancestors had cancer or diabetes, you're much more likely to get it.
