They had promised to tease something on april 5th and nothing happened. Maybe it will be a Third Person Shooter RPG. That would be freakin awesome

That's what I was thinking. But The Witcher is based on a series of books, so it was easier to pull off a game with a good story. We'll see how good is the story in this one.

Reminds me of one of the guys you fight in Streets of Rage.

While they had an existing fiction and a cast of characters, the plot of the games is original as it's set after the books. I wouldn't worry too much about their writing skills. There is plenty of cyberpunk fiction for them to draw on if they need inspiration from, for the world. 

Personally I am looking forword to what they could do with their own IP
