I saw a copy of Tropico trilogy for £10 but I want to play it on my Steam account (I.E earn achievements and multiplayer etc) if I buy a disc version of a game, is there a way to connect with Steam or am I only allowed to play with Steam bought items only?
PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

depends if it uses STEAMworks.. then you should just be able to put the CD key into steam... Some developers don't want to force their customers and they prefer to develop different versions of the game..

On the case, it said nothing about "Steamworks", should that take it as red it doesn't work with steam?

Tropico 3 isn't a steamworks title so the retail version won't connect to steam, so no steam achievements unless you buy the game on Steam. Game doesn't have any multiplayer so that isn't an issue.

Yup.. now you have to use pen and paper to write down your achievements... >_>
