Forza 4 releases with an over 90 metascore.

So the GT5 should affect the Forza 4 sales?

Answer: No ! If what you are saying was right then GT5 sales have to sell like 30-40% minimum? An increase in GT5 of a few 1000's units is not an eclipse, that is just peeping through the window because you are in need of attention..

Nah. They're on totally different platforms. I guess it might steal a little thunder in press, etc. but I doubt any 360 owners are going to rush out and buy a PS3 to get GT5 at a lower price vs just buying Forza 4.

Forza 4 should sell fine. Behind GT5 most likely, and perhaps like Forza 3 aggressive bundling will be be used to drive the install base up, but I think the franchise has a good and growing fanbase on 360 so I don't see a PS3 exclusive mattering much.

That's a real question... I voted "LITTLE" .

The racing sim fans are far more on Sonys platform than MS. Sony in general has a more broad fanbase than MS's Gears and Halo (which both got 91 ..quite close of falling from 90 status).

Meta wont have a huge impact. GT fanboys will remain with their love for the franchise.just like Halo fans remain with Halo. They dont need a new game each 2nd year because their support will keep thegame from growing old. Its a shame for Turn 10 though xP. And if anything, the meta is good for us. It will make PD step up their game just like Spec 2 and future GT titles. Since FM4 didnt add any weather etc, GT6 in the future simply needs to improve on what it has instead of adding content.
