Amazon includes the Back To Karkand expansion pack + a set of unique dog tags. The game retails for $60 + $1 release day delivery (which means you get the game on release date). Store link.

WHAT ARE THE DATES FOR THE BETA?

THE OPEN BETA STARTS SEPTEMBER 29TH ON XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3, AND PC.

THOSE THAT HAVE ALREADY PRE-ORDERED THE PC DIGITAL DOWNLOAD VERSION OF BATTLEFIELD 3 THROUGH ORIGIN OR OWN THE LIMITED/TIER 1 EDITION OF MEDAL OF HONOR FOR XBOX 360, PLAYSTATION 3 OR PC, WILL HAVE EARLY ACCESS STARTING ON SEPTEMBER 27TH. THE OPEN BETA ENDS ON OCTOBER 10TH.

WHERE DO I GET THE BETA?

On Playstation 3, the Beta will appear automatically on the Playstation Network Store. On Xbox 360, it will automatically appear on Xbox Live Marketplace. On PC, it will automatically appear in the Origin application's Free Games page.

HOW DO I INSTALL THE BETA?

ON CONSOLE, YOU SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE BETA AND PLAY. ON PC, YOU FIRST INSTALL THE ORIGIN CLIENT (DIRECT DOWNLOAD, ~50MB: WWW.ORIGIN.COM/DOWNLOAD ) AND THEN INSTALL THE BETA FROM WITHIN THE ORIGIN CLIENT. MORE DETAILS WILL BE AVAILABLE HERE BEFORE THE BETA STARTS.

Tips for PC:

Make sure your rig is ready to tear up the Battlefield tomorrow! AMD and nVidia have released their latest drivers today and both are optimized for beta performance. nVidia is releasing 285.83 drivers and here's some of the details:

Increases performance in Battlefield 3 by up to 38 percent.
Improves overall stability and image quality in Battlefield 3.
Adds or updates SLI profiles for Battlefield 3, Dead Island, Diablo III, Dragon Age 2, Need for Speed: The Run, and Saints Row: The Third.

These drivers unfortunately don't work on notebooks, users with notebooks should check nVidia's website. AMD released it's Catalyst 11.10 drivers which:

Improves performance in Battlefield 3 Open Beta release for both non-Anti-Aliasing, and application enabled Anti-Aliasing cases on the AMD Radeon HD 6000 and AMD Radeon HD 5000 Series for single GPU configurations
Improves performance in Battlefield 3 Open Beta release for both non-Anti-Aliasing, and application enabled Anti-Aliasing cases on CrossFire configurations using the AMD Radeon HD 6000 and AMD Radeon HD 5000 Series
Enables support for Eyefinity 5x1 display (portrait and landscape) configurations using the AMD Radeon HD 6000 and AMD Radeon HD 5000 Series
Vision Engine Control Center: User Interface enhancements have been implemented for the CrossfireX, GPU Overdrive, and Information Center pages.

Make sure your PC is ready for Battlefield 3! If you have a console, then you need not pay attention to this post. Consoles may get a system update for Battlefield 3, but that has not been confirmed.

I thought it's not written with a capital F :P

Anyway, the beta had better be available soon on Origin. I don't exactly want to download 3.9GB in one go (I found a site that lets you download it already) when I have a 5GB cap per 24 hours, of which I've already used about 38% during the last 24 hours.
