Forums - Nintendo - 'Cause I've got a Golden Wiimote... sans golden jacket!

With the recent bundle announced, we have a great Zelda pack to look forward to, but the problem with some of these colourful wiimote's are the white wrist strap or transparent sleeve they come with (even the white buttons in this case). Bought my first Wii remote plus last christmas, it was the blue one but the jacket and strap came in the standard colours, didn't think much about it then. Just recently I've adquired Wii Play Motion with the red remote plus, and it looks gorgeous in its red jacket and matching red strap. From this experience I've ordered the black remote plus, that in a similar fashion, comes with everything black. But low and behold this golden remote comes packed just like my blue remote... I would have thought Nintendo could have learnt to match colours by now. Aw well.

BONUS: This is what we sang yesterday at my house when the bundle was announced...

"Cos I've got a golden wiimote"!!!

If it comes without the golden condom, then it shall not wear a condom.

I don't use the condoms any more anyways. so meh.

It looks like a lot of Wii owners on this site aren't practicing safe Wii play. I suppose I'd be a hypocrite if I said I still used the jackets. It just feels better without the protection.

I'm more concerned about playing with a white nunchuck that a white jacket... that I don't use.

It feels odd, uncomfortable after some time, makes my hand sweat and can block the IR pointer (causing problems in some games)

playing it safe gives you a better grip thus making you last longer. it even makes it feel bigger in your hand so swinging it around feels like you really have something in your hand.

Nah man, there's something much more satisfying about feeling the Wiimote's real texture when you are holding it. It just feels much more satisfying.

I don't like the jacket. It doesn't lets you feel the rumble of the Wiimote when you're holding it firmly in your hand...
