So yeah, according to Nintendo of Europe, Skyward Sword is apparently releasing during August.

Nintendo, during E3, made it fairly clear that the game will release during the holidays... though who knows. I'm not sure how credible NoE is. If it will release during August then I'll be so ecstatic... I've been watching E3 Skyward Sword demos/trailer countless times, and I'm now mega excited for it ^__^ (more than I was before E3) . 

Hopefully this is true, though of course I won't get too excited because I know that once I do NoE will make a statement that's roughly like "Oh woops, accidentally mistyped december... sorry about the confusion"   . 

This can't be right. They've stated holidays many times and there is no reason to give 3rd parties room on Wii... its not like they are putting anything there.

There is no doubt that Nintendo will be releasing this massive first party title in November.

No way. NoA definitely listed it for the holidays (which means pre-Thanksgiving in November), and NCL is probably gunning for something similar, no way NoE gets it out three months ahead of the other two regions

I believe you can now edit the title of threads with the new gamrConnect 2.0... so you can change it to december or whatever

Mostly a mistake. Europe won't get it before the US, it just don't make sense.

Maybe someone at Noe has mistaken reality with his/her hopes.

Nintendo really likes Europe. Now I wonder when they will release Go Vacation.

You know what's strange on that list? Not a single game in the last 2 months of the year. Not even 1 game prior to Christmas to sell more Wiis?

Leaving Christmas for the third-party just like they said they would for Wii-U? Zelda can still pull till the holidays, but you never know... maybe they have more games? Like all those japanese games waiting to arrive to Europe.
