Konami has announced than the 3DS port of MGS3 will come on a higher capacity 4GB card.  This is in contrast to the already announced standard 2GB cards that I'm assuming will be used for almost all other revealed games.

I personally think that 4GB should be enough for pretty much any game on the platform.  I can even only name 3 Wii games that break the 1 layer barrier (just over 4GB): SSBB, Metroid Other M, Sakura Wars, SW3 and Metroid Prime Trilogy.  As I've said before, TLS might as well but I'm not sure.

So Nintendo has already upped the capacity, just a few months after launch, what are your views.

so its the same size as the PS2 "Subsistance" version.

4 gb for a portable game? Great, I know the 3ds is capable of a lot of things but that just confirms it... I guess resident revelations & kingdom hearts will also use 4gb cards.

BTW: nice signature... I hope we can get a sequel for 3ds asap...
