Any words from the wise for this game? Did you guys enjoy the storyline? Better then other MGS's? I don't want to bother waiting for the HD collection, (no trophies presumably, plus I'm sure it'll be more expensive) so I opted out for the good ole $14.99 disc version from Sony Style lol. Gotta wait a while to charge the ancient PSP-2000, haven't touched/charge it since Dissidia!

TLDR; How did you guys like Peace Walker? and how does it compare to other MGS's?

I think peace walker will have trophys since there doing it in a different way then other devs. I could be wrong tho but I dont think they'd make the game multiplat and leave out actievements for 360 owners

Edit: Oh ya and I really liked it but couldnt finish it because of the horrible psp controls

Crap, forgot about the x360 version lol; still shocked that they pulled a multi plat. Then I guess its safe to assume that they'll have trophies...hmm..maybe this buy wasn't worth it..lol.

Also, horrible psp controls was one of the reasons why I couldn't stand portable ops, I was so hyped and couldn't even get passed the tutorial lol..I might've made a stupid purchase :(

The controls for peacewalker are much better than ops they have like 3 schemes that are good imo.

The story in peace walker is amazing much better than I expected. I really hope we see another Big Boss MGS sequel

I wouldnt say its a stupid purchase the game is well worth 14.99 and when I say horrible controls I mean aiming with buttons it just makes the game really unfun(if thats a word lol) for me and makes boss battles a real pain in the ass.

...wow lol That's a massive statement to throw out there; a psp title being better then the greatest game of all time?! Haven't had the chance to play it yet, but after watching reviews again, I can't wait

Although the game was broken up into missions which made the game seem less immersive, it worked very well in short blasts on the PSP. The gameplay and bosses were fun as hell, and the story was pretty decent too. Sadly, the missions started to become repetitive halfway through, so I changed my tactic to sneaking to mix things up a bit.

You can tell that MGS Peace Walker was trying to be more like a handheld game rather than an epic console game, but it still works extremely well and is one of my favourite handheld games of all time.

I really enjoyed peace walker, it's probably my second or third favorite MGS and was a really great experience, If only more people would play it...

All I'll say is that its a great game...won't compare it to the other ones as I don't wanna give spoilers.., you enjoy it now
