I an then left with a blank desktop, no icons, no shortcuts work, task manager just reopens error,...

    1UP Review: Monster Hunter Unite - A (100/100)

in Gaming Discussion, last active on on 21 June 2009

"Freedom Unite is a huge game, and, naturally, a little intimidating. But not only are you getting the best installment of the Monster Hunter franchise so far (though Monster Hunter 3 will no doubt be just as grand), you're getting an enormous action RPG that gives you a lot in return for putting a lot in. And it can potentially keep you attached to your PSP longer than you ever...

WTF is wrong with my PS3?

in Sony Discussion, last active on on 13 June 2009

Since a few days ago, like after I've been playing for 45 minutes, the bottom quarter of my screen will cut out and it will be replaced by the top of my screen. So the top and the bottom are running the same video. Damn annoying, anybody happen to have any ideas?   UPDATE: It's my TV and not PS3 - Suggestions or busted TV?...

PSP Crimson Gem Saga - 8.4 IGN

in Sony Discussion, last active on on 29 May 2009

"Atlus and IRONNOS deliver one of the most surprisingly old-school RPGs the PSP has seen yet." "Crimson Gem Saga knows exactly what it is: a simple, old-school, effortlessly effective throwback to the good ol' days when a solid battle system, enjoyable story, banter-heavy characters, constant upgrade cycles for equipment and just enough depth to keep one going were paramount. It's so amazingly...

IGN Rock Band Unplugged - 8.2

in Sony Discussion, last active on on 24 May 2009

Closing CommentsRock Band Unplugged is a blast and I highly recommend it to people looking to jam on the go, but you do need to examine the cost/benefit side of things. Yes, the gameplay is amazing and a ton of fun, but this is well-worn territory of fans for the franchise. If playing World Tour gigs and hitting up Band Survival Mode every now and again is good enough for you -- and it is for me...

Should reviewers be forced to re-review games?

in Gaming Discussion, last active on on 07 May 2009

I was looking at the reviews for SOCOM: Confrontation, and most are outdated in the sense that they all complain of lag and bugs that are largely solved now - shouldn't these be updated or is it the developpers fault?   I mean, a 4/10 from Destructoid describes it as, "The latency, disconnects, freezing, and generally poor structure cripples the game’s ability to deliver its...

    Need Help - TROJAN Viruses

in General Discussion, last active on on 02 May 2009

Basically, someone in my house downloaded some shit that has my computer swarming with viruses. Thought I had it under control, but then they came back with a venegance. The Full Scan of Norton detects nothing anymore, but about every 30 seconds I get a notification that a high risk Trojan was blocked by Auto-Scan. I look for the location that this took place in, and it is nowhere that I can...

    Playstation controllers are faulty

in Sony Discussion, last active on on 25 October 2008

Another pair of controllers messed up on me, all 4 of my PS2 ones, now my PS3 ones. Biggest problem: analo g pads get loose and swirl around with my thumb, it makes my movements innaccurate and is damn annoying. Also, my R2 buttons are loose and it reacts at random moments without any pressure and one of my pads gets stuck when pushed up. Paying 60$ for a lame product that can't last a year is...
