After having played Prime 4 for a couple of hours, I hope it's not the same formula. Don't get me wrong, I really like the game, but it does feel a bit dated. If it would have come out early in the WiiU era, it would have been considered a classic. Crossgen with Switch, still an absolute banger. But as of 2025, it just feels like Prime, with some already done to the death mechanics, in games that released more than a decade ago.
Now, it's still Prime, so it plays really well, but I feel that the formula has run its course. Maybe a 3rd person take could reinvigorate the series? Just throwing it out there, as I have no clue how it could work.
