Generative "A.I." should be treated like it is. It's both an existential threat to society and the single largest-scale instance of plagiarism in human history. It should be completely banned as a commercial product available to the general public. If we must have "A.I.," its use should be limited to edge cases where it might actually be useful, like certain types of scientific research.
And good grief at someone using "A.I." slop to defend data centers that are used to generate said slop.
