For the longest time it was both Mega Man 11 and then Mega Man 12. When Capcom brought back classic Mega Man with MM9 & MM10, I was super excited. But then after MM10 the years passed and no MM11. It took us eight years to finally get it, and I got that game on day one. Then the Blue Bomber went on another hiatus. I was thinking to myself, "MM11 was the best-selling game in the series. Surely it'll get a sequel." But the years kept passing. Then at the Game Awards last year I heard the orchestra start playing the Wily Castle music from MM2 and I was like three feet in front of the screen sitting on the floor in rapt attention like it was 1989 again, and was super hyped to see them finally announce what was for me the long-awaited twelfth Mega Man classic series game. Dual Override is currently my most anticipated game of next year, no joke.
Currently, my pick for an unannounced game that I've been waiting forever for and that we are pretty confident is coming is the next mainline 3D Mario game.
