The leap to HD also really fucked up their software pipeline so that the games it needed arrived too late to make a difference.

Funnily enough, the one year of third party support it did have produced some pretty good experiences; I had a blast playing Black Ops II with pointer controls, and Sonic All Stars Racing Transformed and Splinter Cell Blacklist were fun as well. Later, The Swapper, Affordable Space Adventures, and Fast Racing Neo were excellent. Problem was, there just weren't enough of them.
