And one more crucial point that no one talks about is that trading/sharing is never represented in any of these reports. Sony obviously sees trading as lost revenue. How much money/time people spend on traded or borrowed games is unknown...

 I don't understand where you are getting these numbers from or how you are deriving them.  

It's widely reported that platform holders make 15% from physical 3rd party sales. Sony's "physical revenue" only accounts for this 15% in addition to the 65%~ they make from physical 1st party.

On the other hand, their add-on and digital revenues count every dollar spent by the consumer, including the 70% cut that actually goes to the 3rd party publisher.

The actual "consumer spending" gap between physical and digital software is much smaller than it appears.
