Here's a thought... maybe people would be less inclined to pull the "misogyny" card if the failure of any superheroine movie or female-led action movie didn't result in a bunch of forum threads and YouTube videos of people gloating about it.
Not claiming that's why Supergirl failed (heck, most DC movies with male superheroes not called Superman have bombed lately), or that it was in any way a good movie. Just, you know, pointing something out.
