It would be great if Astro sold 10m but it's done amazingly well for what is essentially a new IP and platformer. Even on Switch, platformers do not sell 5m unless it's a recognised IP from Nintendo themselves like Mario/Kirby/Donkey Kong etc.
Unfortunately we don't have numbers to work with outside of Japanese physical sales but we have good reason to believe Astro will hit a minimum 5m LT. Which is what Crash Bandicoot 4 sold across 5 platforms. Almost double the most recent Sonic game on all platforms.
The only non remake to perform better has been It Takes Two.
I'm excited to see where the franchise can go from here.
