2025 and 2026 have delivered some quality experiences in Nintendo titles, but it's safe to say a lot of people (and likely even a majority) aren't going to put these years as some of the best years for Nintendo games. 2017 continues to top many people's lists for its Zelda/Mario combo, among other things (even 3DS still got some Nintendo games).

I feel by time 2027 is over and we're on to 2028; Switch 2 will have been out for long enough to deliver a red-letter year.

We already have these titles confirmed

-Pokémon Winds and Waves

-Xenoblade Genesis

And these titles are likely

-3D Mario

-Luigi's Mansion 4

-Kirby platformer

-Splatoon 4

-Something Super Smash Bros. - Maybe not a new game yet but a Switch 2 version of Ultimate possibly or something crazy like a standalone Subspace Emissary+Smash Run remake combo for a budget title. That might just be added to Ultimate though.

-New IP

And very likely some Mario Kart World DLC
