Overall, limiting the comparison with the OG Switch, I can say this first. I don't feel compromised with the handheld experience this time like I was with the previous one after the first few years.
As for the games, I initially played a lot of catch-up with my last few Switch 1 games at the time, mainly Xenoblade X DE and DQ III HD-2D.
First party wise ... I'm sad to admit but I've yet to actually finish any that I've started 😅
But I'd say the quality of experiences I've had while not as captivating as the biggest hitters in the Switch first year like BOTW, Mario Odyssey and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The quality of most titles I've had is definitely here without a doubt, doesn't feel like they rushed anything too early(albeit maybe MK World ?) and DK Banana, Kirby Air Riders, Metroid Prime 4, Pokopia and surprisingly Yoshi and the Mysterious Book are amongst its highlights for the first year.
A line up that would've made most Nintendo fans salivate in the previous generations imo.
Can't talk too much of future prospects for the 2nd year, but they keep coming with worthy titles and a Direct to point us in the right direction and we'll be set I think.
