If NS2 sales aren't able to have good numbers because of the price increase, the japanese traditional gaming is in big trouble, it is pretty much the only thing keeping it alive.
I heard PC gaming was in the rise there but with Switch dropping I think the smartphones will get the remaining of the industry they started to dominate back in the 2010s.
People may still get used to the new price as time goes on, and we are sure to see big spikes in sales when big games release, so it's waiting and seeing time.
