Showing my age here (going to be 30 soon, not 35-50 like a lot of the members here) but I'm going to go with optical mainly for GameCube and Wii. Those consoles were so much fun with fun IPs like Smash, Paper Mario, Super Mario, Mario Kart, and so on. There was some fun on Wii U too despite the disappointment of the console.
Switch and Switch 2 are about to pass that, though, and they probably already have.
