For games like DOOM, I'd say that 60fps is very big part of core experience.

Doom 2016 and Eternal worked just fine at 30fps on Switch; 60fps is obviously better if it's feasible, but if Dark Ages makes the jump to Switch 2 I expect the devs will opt for 30fps rather than struggle to reach 60 and probably having to significantly change stuff like level designs or enemy counts in the process.
