I mean, I technically did when I got my first job back in 1998. N64 games ran $50 to $70, or around $102 to $143 in today's money. Games getting technically cheaper over time has been nice and all, but I would consider paying $100 for a game from a series that I really, really liked, and if it reviewed well and had good word of mouth. Basically the absolute tippy-top high-priority titles. Everything else I'm fine paying $60-80, depending on what it is.
