The implication is that more star Fox is coming.

If I remember correctly, Nate said before this direct that a Star Fox game will be released in the summer of 2026 (June, 25) and a new one in 2027, so perhaps this game is meant to reintroduce the franchise, but to a new audience, not for the old one.

I thought new players would be driven away by the characters looking hyper realistic.
